Lacy S. Robertson was born in 1975, in Mobile, Alabama. She joined the firm as an associate in October 2000 and became a partner of the firm in January 2009. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She majored in Sociology with a minor in English. She was honored by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology for academic excellence. In 2000, she earned her Juris Doctor law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. She served on the editorial board of the Law and Psychology review from 1998-2000. She was outstanding junior editor for the 1998-1999 year and lead articles editor from 1999-2000. During the 1999-2000 term she worked exclusively for a consumer bankruptcy attorney. Ms. Robertson was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September 2000. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. In December 2010, Ms. Robertson was a co-author and presenter at a National Bankruptcy Institute seminar, “Bankruptcy 101”. She attended Max Gardner’s renowned Bankruptcy Bootcamp in January 2011. On December 11, 2015, she was a co-author and speaker at a National Business Seminar, “New Bankruptcy Rules, Forms and Fees You Must Know!”.
